The 2007-8 Football Season ended in great style for the WORCESTER ALL STARS. Our Under-16 Team won their league handsomely and our senior team came in a close runner up at the LEAGUE level in the BIRMINGHAM ABILITY COUNTS LEAGUE competition.

This is a major achievement for all our players and their coaches and earns them a very well meant THANK YOU and CONGRATULATIONS from all who support the team. The Club also extends heartfelt thanks to all the Mums and Dads and other carers who make sure that our team players turn up to the training sessions each Sunday at Nunnery Wood. This support for our players is absolutely essential and makes the WORCESTER ALL STARS the team it is!

WELL DONE EVERYBODY!

The LEAGUE AWARDS were handed out at an excellent end of season party held at ASTON VILLA which everyone thoroughly enjoyed. Pictures from the event can be seen by clicking the link to our PHOTO GALLERY at the top left of the web page.

We were also very fortunate to be able to send the whole club to a friendly match at Liverpool Football Academy which had laid on a very full programme of games and visits to the Liverpool Football Museum. Our hosts gave us a fantastic day and we are very grateful to our team mate Tim Craythorne who made all of the arrangements for the trip, and also to the team at Liverpool for looking after us so well.

On the day we were there it turned out that another planned tour of the Liverpool Football Ground had been cancelled and very luckily we were able to take up the vacant slot. This was a dream come true for our team and their coaches since quite a few are avid Liverpool fans. Not the least of which is our Vice-chairman Dave Alban and his son Tim. Our photo gallery tells the whole story much better than I can describe, just look at everyone's faces...! A GREAT end to a GREAT season.
